CII-EXIM Bank Award for Business Excellence, is the most prestigious Award in India for Excellence that an Indian company can aspire for. The Award is based on a comprehensive model focusing on the Organization’s performance and transformation under different criteria’s which any model Organisation must exhibit.
Jindal Power Limited, Tamnar, a 3400 MW Power Station applied for this award. A team of assessors from CII -Exim Bank, lead by senior assessor Mr. C.B. Thakur conducted assessment as per the EFQM model from 24th Sep to 29th Sep’24. The team started with a comprehensive one to one discussions with ED & HOP, Tamnar and subsequently interacted with all internal and external stakeholders of the Company. The assessment team in their closing remarks appreciated the operational performance of the Company and the various exemplary measures taken for the society.
Jindal Institute of Power Technology JIPT took lead in preparation of position report, arranging all logistics for filing of application and successfully enabling the completion of assessment activities.
