On February 26, 2025, a distinguished delegation from the Zimbabwe Ministry of Higher Education, led by Prof. F. Tagwira, along with academicians from leading institutions, visited Jindal Institute of Power Technology (JIPT).
The delegation engaged in discussions on potential collaborations with O. P. Jindal University, Raigarh (C.G.), and JIPT, Tamnar to strengthen engineering training programs for young graduates.
During their visit, the team explored JIPT’s state-of-the-art training infrastructure, including:
✅ Power Plant Simulators
✅ Rich Library & Model Room
✅ Renewable Energy Models (Wind, Solar, Hydrogen Fuel)
✅ AR/VR Modules & Smart Classrooms
They also praised the institute’s modern 246-room hostel, well-equipped gym, indoor & outdoor sports facilities, and a 150-seater canteen.
